JUST IN: VACATE EFCC OFFICE IMMEDIATELY – TINUBU ORDERS DSS
President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday evening, ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to immediately vacate the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Tinubu was quoted to have remarked that if there were issues between the “two important agencies of government”, they should be resolved amicably.
Earlier on Tuesday, operatives of the EFCC were reportedly locked out of their Lagos office by personnel DSS.
According to EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren, DSS officers “barricaded the entrance with armoured personnel carriers”.
