
UPDATE: TAJUDEEN ABBAS VOTED IN AS SPEAKER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Honourable Tajudeen Abbas representing Zaria Federal Constituency has emerged as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the 10th National Assembly.
Abbas won an open ballot voting system supervised by the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly.
He defeated fellow contenders – Ahmed Wase and Sani Jaji, who polled three votes each.
He has however taken an oath of office as the new Speaker House of Representatives
