“It is with great delight that we received the news of your appointment to higher state duties as the Permanent Secretary, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youths and Sports.
“This elevation in the service of your great state is a testament to the contributions you have made through superintending the state’s football team, Nasarawa United in the elite cadre of the national league.
“It is more delightful to know that in you, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) now has a worthy ambassador in the chambers of governance in the state and a voice for football in the inner circles of administration in Nasarawa State.
“There is no doubt that you will apply even greater commitment in discharging the responsibilities of your new office just as you did in pursuit of the ideal club football management as Chairman of the NPFL Clubs Owners Association”, Owumi wrote.
