JUST IN: NUC BOSS ANNOUNCES VOLUNTARY RESIGNATION TO RESUME AS BUK LECTURER
Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, announced his voluntary resignation on Monday.
Rasheed revealed this to our correspondent during a conversation and said he would be going back to Bayero University in Kano to continue working as a lecturer.
According to a report, Adamu Adamu, the former minister of education, was in office when Rasheed was chosen to lead the NUC.
When he served as executive secretary of the NUC, the commission authorized the most private universities.
The most industrial actions were also seen in the academic system.
