Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, a popular actress, has advised using ‘a fool’s folly’ to promote one’s business.

The film producer, whose latest film ‘Ijakumo’ (the born again stripper) has received mixed reactions from fans and even some who have yet to see it, revealed how she recently used the approach to her advantage.

It all started yesterday, when she invited influencers, namely Daniel Regha, to the ‘trendupp awards’ to give their thoughts and comments about her film.

“My darling @DanielRegha, I hope to see you face to face today at the Trendupp awards so you can kindly tell me where I need to improve in filmmaking.” I read your tweet on IJAKUMO and would want to meet you so you can advise me where and what I should work on. “Hope to see other lovely influencers today as well,” she tweeted.

“Hello, @toyin_abraham1, I was constantly told you wanted to visit me, but I opted to ignore you because, while I admire you as an actress, your support for this government following the EndSARS protests contradicts everything I believe in. Having said that, the film “Ijakumo” was poorly written and directed. “Please accept my apologies,” he tweeted.

While Daniel and several Twitter users dismissed Toyin’s ‘Ijakumo,’ many others praised the film.

Regha, who had previously denounced the film, confirmed his stance few hours following Toyin’s invitation.

The actress opted to engage her followers by retweeting favorable comments from viewers about her film, as is only normal.

One Victor said, “I just wish you would stop engaging yourself in what fools say on the internet.”

Toyin Abraham, on the other hand, stated, “Sometimes you use fools and their foolishness to sell your market.”

She eventually broke the camel’s back by responding to Timi, who remarked, “Mummy ire don vex.” But then you get into problems. You know Daniel is all about criticism; I’ve never seen him acknowledge something without throwing in some critique.”

In response to Timi, the mother of one stated that she named Daniel Regha on purpose in her post since she was fully aware of his hate for her person and craft.

She implied that because Regha had a visible social media presence and was someone whose opinions many people respected, she used him as a lure to promote her film, and it worked incredibly well.

“I knw darling, I needed him, and he delivered 2 ge 4” said Toyin.
