The drugs were discovered in the vehicle driven by Fidelis Otiga and Chukwuma Kennedy, who were both arrested after the stop and search, which took place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at around 2356 hours.
In a Toyota Sienna with the license plate KJA 118 HV, illegal substances with a street value of Thirteen Million Naira (N13,000,000.00) were being transported.
Since then, the suspects and evidence have been brought to the Command’s main office for additional investigation and legal action.
