JUST IN: LABOUR MAY RECONSIDER PLANNED PROTEST
On Tuesday, organized labor hinted that it might reconsider its planned statewide protest, which is set to begin on Wednesday.
Emma Ugbaja, Secretary of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), made the announcement at the conclusion of the Presidential Steering Committee on Palliatives meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He contended that, while President Bola Tinubu’s actions announced Monday evening were positive, they were not far-reaching enough.
He did, however, state that the labor team would return to the organizations they represent in order to reach an agreement on the next course of action.
