LYDIA BALOGUN CROWNED WINNER OF EXQUISITE QUEEN NIGERIA PAGEANT
Lydia Balogun has been crowned winner of the 8th Exquisite Queen Nigeria World contest held in Lagos.
Miss Balogun, who graduated cum laude from Babcock University, won the top spot amidst stiff opposition from twelve finalists. The Lagos representative succeeds the outgoing Queen Loveth Henry, who was crowned the Exquisite Queen Nigeria World in 2022. Henry is the current Miss Supermodel Worldwide Africa 2023.
Following her triumph, Balogun will represent Nigeria in September at the Miss Aura International competition in Turkey. After being declared the pageant winner, the visibly elated Balogun expressed both shock and great joy at her win, as she promised to carry out her role as queen to the best of her ability.
“As the new face of this pageant, I want to assure everyone that I intend to do all within my capacity to take this pageant to the next level,” she said and also appreciated the pageant organiser, Greenville Entertainment and Modeling Agency.
Models that made Top 6 are Miss Anthony Supreme Jesha (Miss Abuja), Miss Itunuoluwa Akinruntan (Miss Ogun), Miss Igwilo Eberechukwu Anastasia (Miss Imo), Miss Nasarawa and Miss Anambra.
Anthony Supreme Jesha who emerged Exquisite Queen Africa 2023, will represent Nigeria at the Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2024 competition in India.
