HAPPENING NOW: TINUBU SWEARS IN MINISTERS-DESIGNATE

President Bola Tinubu has begun the swearing in of Ministers Designate at the Pressidential Villa, in Abuja on Monday.
The swearing in started with the announcement of the first batch designate, who were presented with their certificates after taking their oaths of allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The State House Conference Center in Abuja is hosting the installation of the 45 confirmed ministers-designates.
This comes less than a week after President Bola Tinubu unveiled the portfolios for the new hires, which included Festus Keyamo in charge of the Ministry of Aviation and Nyesom Wike in charge of the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Other ministers include Wale Edun, who oversees finances and the economy; Adegboyega Oyetola, who oversees transportation; David Umahi, who oversees construction; Festus Keyamo, who oversees aviation and aerospace development; and Betta Edu, who oversees humanitarian aid and poverty alleviation.
