
EFCC ARRESTS SIX SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS IN BAUCHI

Six men suspected to be internet fraudster have been arrested by the operatives of the Gombe Zonal Command of Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was contained in a statement released by the EFCC on Wednesday, 20th September 2023, in their hideout at old Government Reservation Area, GRA, Bauchi State.
According to the statement, the six alleged internet fraudsters were arrested on Saturday, 16th September 2023.
The statement also noted that, their arrest was based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in series of internet-related offences.
The suspects are identified as Okeychuku Ani, Rousham Danjuma, Iloabuchi Sideofor, Emmanuel Adibeh, Onyedikachi Iwanze and Elijah Simon.
The statement reads, “Operatives of the Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters.
“The suspects are Okeychuku Ani, Rousham Danjuma, Iloabuchi Sideofor, Emmanuel Adibeh, Onyedikachi Iwanze and Elijah Simon.
“They were arrested on Saturday, September 16, 2023 in their hideout at old Government Reservation Area, GRA, Bauchi, Bauchi State.
“Their arrest was based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet- related offences.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded”.
