Sam Larry, a Nigerian music executive claims Mohbad was owing him money.
Larry said he paid Mohbad 2 million naira to perform at his birthday event in Dubai and also bought business class ticket for him, but he did not show up, which caused disagreement between him and Mohbad
Mohbad did not only refuse to show up, but he had no explanation other than that he was sick. Sam Larry demanded for a refund of his money
In a video involving him and Mohbad with Zlatan present, Sam Larry did not touch Mohbad. He only said he won’t allow him go without him paying his money.
While Zlatan has been reluctant to step into the spotlight due to his reluctance to engage with social media, there are two audio recordings in which he affirms that Sam Larry did not lay hands on Mohbad. In fact, in one of the recordings, he mentions informing Davido that Sam Larry displayed respect by refraining from harming Mohbad, and he felt esteemed by it.
Mohbad! Was he a troubled youth? What was his connection to the Eiye confraternity? Did he become a member, and if so, when? Did this influence him to become confrontational with his friends and supporters? What was his mental health status? Is there any indication of Mohbad displaying excessive aggression and engaging in conflicts when experiencing a mental breakdown? How did he relate to drugs? Lastly, did he portray himself as a villain who often played the victim card?
The police investigation will uncover answers to these questions. Currently, we hear that the police are diligently pursuing this case. We hope they continue on this path and guide us towards true justice, rather than resorting to mob justice.
