
RRS ARRESTS EX-CONVICT FOR PHONE SNATCHING
Abdul-Lateef Mutiu, an ex-convict was arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS).
Around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, eagle-eyed operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) arrested Abdul-Lateef Mutiu, 20, an ex-convict, after snatching an Infinix Hot 30 Play worth N93, 000:00 from a UBER driver in Ketu.
After snatching the phone from the driver, the suspect attempted to escape when the officers arrested him.
The suspect confessed that he has been operating in the area since 2018 and has been arrested two times.
Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, has ordered that the phone be returned to its rightful owner and that the suspect be charged in court immediately.
