
ADELEKE CONSTITUTES NON-STATUTORY, LG EDUCATION BOARDS
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointment of members of non-statutory boards as well as chairmen, secretaries, and members of Local Government Education Boards.
Adeleke directed that the appointments take effect immediately in a statement issued on Thursday.
The governor also charged the new appointees to strictly observe the rule of law, due process, and procurement laws in all their doings.
“The appointments take immediate effect. I charge the new appointees to strictly observe the rule of law, due process, and procurement laws in all their doings,” Adeleke said.
The governor had earlier appointed chairmen and vice chairmen of the non-statutory boards.
The boards include Osun State University, UNIOSUN, University of Ilesa, UNILESA, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa.
Others are the Local Government Service Commission, Hospital Management Board, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC, Osun State Pilgrim Welfare Board (Muslim and Christian wings), Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Osun State Council for Art and Culture, Osun State Tourism Board, Osun Internal Revenue Service, OIRS, and Osun State Water Corporation.
Additionally, the list of Local Government Education Boards for the 30 local governments was also made available.
