
BAMIDELE LAUDS SHOOTING STARS’ ‘BIG WIN’ AGAINST NIGER TORNADOES
Shooting Stars defender Ayodeji Bamidele has commended his team’s 4-1 thumping of the Niger Tornadoes at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.
Ayobami Adekunle scored Shooting Stars’ first goal of the game with Ayodeji Bamidele, Adeowo Gbolagade and Kareem Ayinde also on target for the hosts.
Ernest Chidiebere scored the consolation goal for Niger Tornadoes.
Bamidele reacted to the win in a short video posted on the club’s X handle.
“To the Shooting Stars fans that are here the victory tonight is for you,” Bamidele said.
” Come on Shooting, keep supporting, Shooting Stars we are taking you there don’t worry, keep supporting us.”
Bamidele has made seven appearances in the NPFL this campaign yielding one goal.
Shooting Stars sit in second position on the NPFL table with 13 points from seven games.
The Oluyole Warriors next game is an away fixture against Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday.
