At the International Conference Centre in Abuja, the National Association of Nigerian Students, or NANS, is now holding its election for new executives.
Periodically, there were gunshots, according to TVC News correspondent Moyo Thomas, who was near the scene.
The gathering was dispersed by police using tear gas so they wouldn’t be injured by stray bullets.
