NSCDC PROMOTES, DECORATES 790 OFFICERS IN LAGOS
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command, has decorated 790 promoted officers in the command.
The decoration was done on Thursday at the state command’s headquarters, in Alausa, Ikeja. This is according to a statement released on Friday by DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun, the spokesperson for the state NSCDC.
According to Oluwaseun, the State Commandant, Usman Alfadarai, gave the promoted officers advice on how to represent the corps well and demonstrate their professionalism in the course of carrying out their duties.
“The promoted officers should not see the promotion as an advantage to intimidate their colleagues or a reason to undermine the professional ethics and practice of our highly revered and esteemed service.
“Justify your new ranks with more professional, operational, and administrative results for the service and keep the flag flying,” Alfadarai said.
Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Commandant General, NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, and his entire top management team for thinking it appropriate to honor and recognize diligence, professionalism, self-control, and commitment to service.
According to reports, the Federal Government had earlier on December 1 directed the Civil Defense, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board to promote a total of 32,361 individuals across all ranks.
