By Aishat Momoh. O.
In an accident on Monday, one person was killed and another injured in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, along the outbound lane of the Umaru Musa Yaradua Motorway, also known as the Airport Road.
One individual suffered minor injuries in the collision involving a gravel-carrying truck and two smaller automobiles, while one woman lost her life.
Additionally, the collision created gridlock on the already congested motorway, making it extremely difficult for commuters to use the route.
At the site, representatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Directorate of Road Traffic Services, and a few police officers could be seen making every effort to keep the peace.
