FIVE SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR PIRACY OF TOYIN ABRAHAM’S MOVIE ‘MALAIKA’ (VIDEO)

The Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, Lagos on Tuesday paraded some suspects involved in forgery, extortion and counterfeiting of the Nigerian Police character certificate.
The suspects according to the FCIID spokesperson, Oluwakemi Mayeigun, who disclosed this information to journalists said that, they were arrested following detailed evidence suggesting that the individuals were directly involved in the forgery of the Nigeria police character certificate amongst other criminal activities.
Spokesperson for the FCIID, who disclosed the development to journalists also paraded one other suspect who is alleged to be involved in unlawful use of cyberspace to broadcast toyin Abraham’s recent movie, “Malaika”
She added that the five suspects who were said to have pirated the movie produced by nollywood actress Toyin Abraham, barely one month after the release of the movie were picked up by the police following a complaint by the actress.
Meanwhile, The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has assured residents of his commitment to the course of criminal justice delivery, crime prevention and detection, promising to keep the public abreast through the practice of routine issuance of Crime and Security Advisories.
