LAGOS POLICE PREVENT CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES, ARREST 37 SUSPECTS, SEIZE WEAPONS

The Lagos State Police, led by Commissioner Adegoke Fayoade, has successfully apprehended 37 individuals involved in crimes ranging from cultism and illegal gun possession to armed robbery and theft.

The outcome of these operations included the recovery of a sizable cache of firearms in addition to the removal of persons involved in criminal activity.

Law enforcement seized sixteen firearms in all, along with seventy-two live cartridges, seventy-five live rounds, and an unsettling toy handgun.

The variety of firearms that were taken into custody emphasizes how grave the criminal activity that the police were able to stop was. A variety of tools and weapons that may have been utilized to commit more crimes are also among the recovered goods.

Commissioner Adegoke Fayoade highlighted several noteworthy crimes, including armed robberies, illegal gun possession, conspiracies, and cults.

Remarkably, the police’s prompt action led to the arrest of individuals suspected of being involved in the invasion at lju-Ishaga, the finding of an AK-47 gun that had been stolen, and the apprehending of a renowned cult leader, Olamilekan Tajudeen, also referred to as Ebila.

Furthermore, the Commissioner emphasized Lagos State Police’s dedication to ensuring citizens’ safety and security.

However, suspects will be subject to legal action after the investigation is finished, adding that investigations are ongoing and the suspects will face legal action once the inquiry is concluded.
