
OLOJEDE, AWARD-WINNING JOURNALIST, CHARGES FELLOWS OF LJLA TO EMBRACE RESILIENCE
The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) recently hosted multiple Award-winning Journalist and Publisher, Mr. Dele Olojede, during which he shared leadership strategies that shaped his career with the Fellows.
Olojede, an accomplished Journalist with over four decades of experience, highlighted the importance of diversity in leadership, imploring Fellows of the Academy to embrace hard work and resilience as a means to achieving set goals and objectives.
The visit also provided a platform for interactive learning, enabling Fellows to gain practical insights into the challenges and rewards of journalistic integrity, while emphasising the importance of the media in shaping public discourse.
“It is very impressive that the Lagos State Government is grooming young talents through the Academy, therefore, there is hope for the future and Nigeria is in good hands”, he said.
The Executive Secretary for the Academy, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade reiterated the commitment of the Academy to provide Fellows with exposure to various Industry Leaders as a means to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills,
“Our goal at the Academy is to actively prepare Fellows for the challenges they may encounter in the public service and create an enabling environment where they develop innovative solutions to the challenges”, she stated.
