
AFCON: PESEIRO MAINTAINS SAME FORMATION AS OMERUO, ARIBO, SIMON START VS GUINEA-BISSAU
Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has named four new players in his starting line-up for Monday’s (today) Group A with the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.
Peseiro also opted for a 3-4-3 formation for the clash billed for the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
Stanley Nwabali will start in goal for the third consecutive game in the competition.
Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel will make his first start of the game. He will play at right wing-back, while Ola Aina will play at left wing-back.
Kenneth Omeruo will take the place of the injured William Troost-Ekong in starting line-up.
Omeruo will pair Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey in central defence.
Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo and will take charge of midfield.
Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze will play from the wings, while Victor Osimhen will lead the attack.
