
SUPREME COURT RESERVES JUDGEMENT ON BINANI’S APPEAL AGAINST ADAMAWA GOV
The Supreme Court on Monday reserved judgment in the appeal by the All Progressives Congress and its Adamawa State governorship candidate, Aisha Dahiru aka Binani against the state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri.
The state election petition tribunal and the Court of Appeal had dismissed Binani’s petition challenging the victory of Finitiri in the governorship election.
After hearing the arguments from the parties involved in the case, a five-member panel led by John Okoro adjourned the matter for judgement at the apex court on Monday.
