It was reported that accreditation and voting had commenced in the re-run election for State Constituency 2 in the Yenagoa LGA of Bayelsa State.

The exercise is being conducted amidst tight security provided by soldiers, policemen and men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps deployed for the polls.
