FCT POLICE NAB WANTED KIDNAP KINGPIN SAIDU ABDULKADIR, AFTER WIKE’S N20 MILLION BOUNTY
Police operatives attached to the Anti-kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command in the continued effort against criminality in the Territory have arrested one of the most wanted and deadly kidnapping kingpins terrorising Abuja and environs.
The kidnap kingpin, Saidu Abubakar, is one of the three wanted kidnap kingpins who were declared missing after narrowly escaping a raid operation of the Special Intervention Squad, the IRT, and the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Command.
Spokesman of FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, the wanted kingpin, was arrested when the Anti Kidnapping Unit raided two kidnappers’ camps bordering Nasarawa and Abuja via Kuje area council.
“During the raid, the police dislodged the camps and arrested one Saidu Abdulkadir, popularly known as (Dahiru Adamu), who is the gang leader and one of the wanted suspects of the kidnapping syndicate paraded by the Police Command on 14th February, 2024.
“The bandits, on sighting the police operatives, opened fire and engaged the police in an intense gun duel and were eventually overpowered by the police.
