GOVERNOR’S AIDE RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Special Adviser to the Governor, Office of Political, Legislative & Civic Engagement, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen has been honoured with a prestigious leadership award by The Fight Against Corruption Organization (FACO), in recognition of his exemplary dedication to upholding transparency, integrity, and accountability in governance.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held recently at the Conference Room of the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Dr. Afolabi expressed his gratitude to FACO, emphasising the importance of collective action in combating corruption and fostering sustainable development in Lagos State and Nigeria as well.
He reiterated his commitment to continually championing initiatives aimed at promoting ethical standards, strengthening institutional frameworks, and empowering citizens to actively participate in the democratic process.
He added that the recognition serves as a source of inspiration and motivation to redouble efforts in building a more just and equitable society.
In his remark, the Chairman, Fight Against Corruption Organization (FACO), Dr. Francis Shopekan said that the award is based on the recognition of Dr. Afolabi’s integrity, hard work, honesty and undeniable impact in various offices and capacities he had served.
He added that Dr. Afolabi’s immense contribution to the development of Lagos State and track record of success over the years cannot be overemphasised, hence the need for his recognition with the prestigious leadership award.
While presenting the award to him, Dr. Shopekan averred that the transformation and innovation that Dr. Afolabi has brought to the Office in his capacity as the Special Adviser has proven that he is an efficient leader with an unwavering commitment to ethical leadership and unrelenting effort at service to humanity.
In attendance at the event were Management and Staff of the Office of Political, Legislative & Civic Engagement, as well as top officials of the Fight Against Corruption Organization.
