LAGOS COOPERATIVE COLLEGE SET TO TRAIN MANAGERS OF COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES ON SURVIVAL STRATEGY

The Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO) has said it is organising a four-day intensive training workshop programme aimed at providing opportunity for all Managers of Cooperative Societies and other small and medium business owners aimed at enhancing their managerial competence to survive the dynamics of business challenges and maximising opportunities within the present economic realities

According to the Provost of the College, Mr. Akorede Ojomu, the training programme themed: ā€œMeasuring Impact and Success in Cooperative Businessā€, will run from Tuesday, March 5 – Friday, March 8, 2024, at the premises of the Lagos State Cooperative College, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos from 9 am prompt.

He said the College is desirous of ensuring that Cooperative Societies and other small businesses survive in the face of the nationā€™s present economic challenges and make meaningful contributions to the nation’s growth.

Informing that the College would continue to design and evolve various capacity-building programmes to meet the Cooperatives and other small businesses’ survival needs, Ojomu called on all the various Cooperative Societies Managers to avail themselves of this unique opportunity and register early enough for the training.

He added that interested participants are required to pay the registration fee of N70,000 to the Lagos State Cooperative College account number: 7159442016 with First City Monument Bank.

The Provost stated that some of the subjects that would be treated at the training programme include ā€˜Benchmarking and Comparative Analysisā€™, ā€˜Data Collection and Analysis Techniquesā€™, and ā€˜Managing Financial Performanceā€™ among others.
