
FAKE NEWS: ARMY DEBUNKS REPORTS OF SUSPECTED COUP PLAN
The Nigerian Army on Sunday evening debunked reports by an online news outlet (not Hotjist) that authorities have uncovered a couple plot against the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a post on their verified social media handle, the Army described the story as fake.
The news platform reported that the Brigade of Guards had beeb put on high alert after it was noticed that there was an unusual movement of Armoured Corps.
