OGUNBOTE EYES CONTINENTAL TICKET FOR NEXT SEASON WITH SHOOTING STARS
Shooting Stars technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote has set his sights on securing a continental ticket at the end of the season.
The Oluyole Warriors extended their unbeaten run to six games following a 2-0 win over Remo Stars in Ibadan.
Christian Pyagbara scored both goals for the home team.
Ogunbote revealed that he never doubted the ability of his players to win the game.
“When we were down to 13th on the table, I said we were still on the course, then we had 19 games and now we have 12 games,” he told Braceradio.
“Anything can happen, all we know is that it is achievable, to get the continental ticket.”
Shooting Stars climbed up to sixth position on the table with 40 points following the win.
