BANDITS KILL TWO DURING RAMADAN PRAYERS IN KATSINA
Some suspected bandits have killed two persons during Ramadan prayer on Saturday at Mairuwa village in the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The spokesperson for the Kastina State Police Command, Abubakar Aliyu, disclosed this in a telephone interview.
Sadiq said the suspected bandits invaded the village, killed two according to preliminary investigation, and kidnapped some residents during the prayers.

Those abducted were later rescued by policemen alongside other security agents.
āOn the 23rd March, 2024, at exactly 8:30pm, some suspected bandits attacked Mairuwa village during Ramadan prayers, they came there to kidnap and as a result of that, they shot and killed two persons.
āThey kidnapped a number of persons. Our men, in collaboration with community watch corps and vigilantes, engaged the bandits in a gun duel
āThe security forces succeeded in repelling the attack, thereby rescuing all the kidnapped victims,ā he said.
Sadiq added that the command had begun investigations on the incident, and efforts were being made to arrest the perpetrators.
