BREAKING: TINUBU GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS TO CHILDREN OF SLAIN SOLDIERS
On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu awarded national honors to seventeen Nigerian Army personnel who lost their lives in Delta State on March 14, 2024.
At the same time, he said that housing would be provided for the family members who were still alive, and that all of their children would get university scholarships.
In addition, he gave the family members instructions to get their death payments within ninety days.
At the event held at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja to honor the fallen soldiers, he made these announcements.
Posthumously, Tinubu bestowed upon Lt. Col. A.H. Ali, the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, Maj. S.D. Shafa (N/13976), Maj. D.E. Obi (N/14395), and Capt. U. Zakari (N/16348) the national honor of Member of the Order of the Niger.
