
LAGOS ANNOUNCES ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR BECE AND PLACEMENT TEST
The Lagos State Government has launched online registration and payment for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS).
Key Points:
- This online system is designed to simplify the process for schools.
- Schools can now create accounts, generate unique IDs and PINs, and register students through the Lagos State Examinations Board website: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng/.
- The online portal includes detailed guidelines for both payment and registration.
Eligibility:
- Only Primary Six pupils qualify for the Placement Test by CAS.
- Only registered Junior Secondary School Three (JSS3) students can take the BECE.
Important Notes:
- Schools are urged to strictly follow the registration and payment guidelines.
- Schools with students with special needs (visual impairments, albinism, etc.) should contact the Exams Board separately to ensure proper examination arrangements.
- Information about payment and registration procedures has already been distributed to schools through their Local Education Districts (LEDs) and Zonal Officers.
