NPFL: SIX PLAYERS BATTLE FOR MARCH PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Six players have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for March.
The players shortlisted are, Adams Olamilekan(Remo Stars), Christian Pyagbara(Shooting Stars), Godwin Obaje, Ejike Ugochukwu (Rangers), Nenrot Silas(Plateau United) and Sani Suleiman(Akwa United).
Veteran forward Obaje netted twice for the Flying Antelope in the month, while midfielder Ugochukwu was outstanding in his position which has aided Rangers to the top of the NPFL table.
Olamilekan scored two match-winning goals in two games against Enyimba and Bayelsa United respectively to give his side two of their three wins in the month under review.

The wins kept Remo Stars in contention for the NPFL title.
Pyagbara continued with his impressive form for Shooting Stars as he netted four goals in the month.
Silas scored a hat-trick for Plateau United in the month.
He extended his goal tally to six this season.
Sulaiman has shouldered the goal-scoring responsibility for Akwa United since his mid-season transfer to the club.
He is regarded as one of the best signings of the mid-season transfer window after his exploits for Akwa United.
He has already scored six goals in five matches for the Promise Keepers.
He netted five times in the month.
The winner of the award will be announced next week.
