The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Gabriel Dewan, has sworn in nine out of 16 All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmakers.
The Nation reports that the swearing-in took place in the early hours of Friday in Jos, the state capital.
According to the report, the member from Jos East was appointed Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
