PARIS 2024 QUALIFIER: MY PLAYERS KNOW WHAT’S AT STAKE – FALCONS COACH, WALDRUM
Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum says his players know the importance of securing a place at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The nine-time African champions are bidding to return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.
Waldrum’s side defeated South Africa 1-0 in the first leg of final qualifying round fixture last Friday.
The two teams will clash in the reverse fixture at the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria, on Tuesday.
The overall winners is guaranteed a place at Paris 2024.
“We will go into the match the same way, we will be confident,” Waldrum said ahead of the game.
“Our players know what’s at stake and I feel confident in our players that they will go and get the result.”
