KANO GOV APPOINTS NINE MORE SPECIAL ADVISERS
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has approved the appointments of additional special advisers alongside other heads of government agencies.
According to a press statement on Tuesday by the governor’s spokesman, Sanusi Tofa, those appointed include Prof. Ibrahim Barde, Special Adviser, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR); Dr. Abdulhamid Danladi, Special Adviser on Diaspora II; Bello Kiru, Special Adviser on Water Resources; and Yusuf Shuaibu Imam (Ogan Boye), who was reappointed as Special Adviser on Youths and Sports
Others are Dr. Nura Shanono, who was moved from Special Adviser Water Resources to Managing Director, Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA) and Baba Umar, who has been moved from Special Adviser to Executive Secretary, Private and Voluntary Institutions Management Board.
The rest are Nasir Muhammad, who has been appointed Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Aminu Na’isa, who is to serve as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Kano Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA), while Mukhtar Yusuf, who is to serve as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA).
The appointments take effect immediately.
