51 PLAYERS TO OPEN GOLDEN EAGLETS CAMP IN ABUJA
Fifty-one players have been invited to the Golden Eaglets open training camp in Abuja ahead of the 2024 WAFU B U-17 Championship.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, confirmed Manu Garba as head coach of the team last week.
The number is expected to be pruned down before the start of the competition which will be hosted by Ghana.
The WAFU tourney will commence on May 17.
The Golden Eaglets are the defending champions after they defeated Burkina Faso in the sub-regional final two years ago also in Ghana.
The competition will serve as qualifiers for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
