VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT AT ONDO APC PRIMARY POLLS
Violence broke out between the opposing supporters of two All Progressives Congress candidates vying to be the party’s nominee for the Ondo State gubernatorial election on November 16 at Stella Maris College in Okitipupa’s Ward 1.
When violence broke out between the opposing factions, accredited party members—who had attended in great numbers to take part in the candidate selection process—left the scene.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, violence broke out as voters scrambled for safety before the accreditation and election procedures had even started.
One of the accredited voters, who wished to remain anonymous, informed NAN that one of the candidate’s representatives had entered the ward, taken the accreditation and validation documents, and fled.
“One of the agents came here, snatched the validation and accreditation papers and fled the venue in his car.
“They chased him, but could not catch him. This caused the violence,” he said.
The security agents at the ward were unable to contain the violence and everyone fled the scene.
