
JUST IN: KIDNAPPED RCCG PASTOR REGAINS FREEDOM
A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Olugbenga Olawore, whose kidnapping was reported by the Hotjist has regained his freedom.
This was disclosed by the Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade.
According to the commissioner, “our people should rest assured that our security apparatus in the state are fully alive and alert to their responsibilities.”
The Commissioner assured that the state government is monitoring and gauging the security situations within its boundary efficiently.
He added that “The newspaper had correctly reported the kidnapping of the Pastor and few others at the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa road, all within Oyo state boundary.
“Since the incident was reported, government has been in close contact with the state Commissioner of police, Compol Bola Hamzat, his team and our own security teams and all parties have done the needful as usual to ensure the safety of lives and properties of our citizens.”
Oyelade, in his statement also reiterated that the state remains the most peaceful in the federation.
