
ICYMI: LAGOS SCHOOLS RESUME TODAY
As of today, April 22, 2024, both public and private elementary and secondary schools in Lagos have resumed for the 2023–2024 Third Term Academic Session.
On March 28, 2024, the schools vacated for the 2023–2024 Second Term Academic Session.

The resumption was confirmed by a private school owner who spoke with our correspondent.
Dr. Deji Akinola of Topdeal Schools, Ikorodu, Lagos, explained that his students have resumed in high numbers.
“Yes, we resumed today. Many of our students have resumed; they are well and happy to be back in school after the holiday,” he said.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mr. Gani Kawal, also confirmed that all public primary and secondary schools have resumed.
He promised to send a statement to the effect before the close of work today.
“Yes, all Lagos schools; primary and secondary have resumed today. Everything is fine. I’ll send a statement soon,” he said.
