NFF TECHNICAL COMMITTEE FAVOURS FOREIGN COACH TO LEAD SUPER EAGLES
The technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has recommended that an expatriate should succeed Jose Peseiro as Super Eagles head coach.
A reliable source in the NFF revealed that the committee has already made their recommendation known to the executive committee of the soccer house.
It has also forwarded the names of the coaches to be considered for the job to the executive committee.
It was reported last week that Domenec Torrent, a former assistant to Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola and erstwhile Indomitable Lions of Cameroon head coach, Antonio Conceicao are the two top expatriates gunning for the job.
The recommendation was made on the proviso that the NFF can afford to pay any of the foreign coaches.
The technical committee also gave the executive board the option to hire an indigenous coach if there is no fund to pay an expatriate.
