
PANIC AS POLICE OFFICER ALLEGEDLY SHOT TWO STUDENTS IN LAUTECH
At the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, or LAUTECH, in the Ogbomoso neighbourhood of Oyo State, on Monday, there was mayhem following reports that a police officer had shot and killed a student, injuring two others.
It was learned that the regrettable situation happened when the unidentified police officer was asked to mediate a disagreement between two individuals at the school.
The officer allegedly fired intermittent shots into the air in an attempt to resolve the situation, killing one student and injuring two others.
Students demanded justice for the slain and sealed the school gates in protest, sparking a melee within the school.
