
TRANSFER: BONIFACE DEBUNKS RUMOURS OF BAYER LEVERKUSEN EXIT
Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface claimed he has no intention of leaving German club, Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
Boniface has enjoyed a successful debut season with the newly crowned Bundesliga champions.
The powerful striker has scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions Xabi Alonso’s side.
The 23-year-old could win a treble this season with Die Werkself already in the final of the DFB Pokal and semi-final of the UEFA Europa League.
There is growing interest in Boniface from top clubs around Europe, he however said his main focus is to remain at the BayArena.
“My current focus is solely on Leverkusen, striving to aid the team in achieving further milestones. It will undoubtedly stand as one of my proudest moments ever,” Boniface affirmed to AFP.
