HOW TO APPLY FOR NIGERIAN ARMY RECRUITMMENT
The Nigerian Army has declared that the application process for women and non-tradesmen has begun.
The application is free and will open from May 3 to May 4, 2024, the Army stated on its official X account on Friday.
The post read, “This is to inform the general public and all interested applicants that online application for 87 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen and Women has commenced.
“Application starts from 3rd May-7th June 2024.”
Below is a step-by-step way of applying:
- Visit https://recruitment.army.mil.ng
- Complete the online application form
- Submit it online and print a copy
- Fill out the Guarantor Form
- Application period: May 3, 2024, to June 7, 2024.
Basic Requirements:
- Nigerian citizenship by birth
- National Identity Card/NIN slip
- Medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- No criminal convictions
- Valid birth certificate/age declaration
- Certificate of state of origin
- Height requirement: Male – 1.68 metres, Female – 1.65 metres
- Age: 18 to 22 years for non-trades, up to 26 years for tradesmen/women by June 30, 2024
- Minimum of four passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB
- Trade Test/City Guild Certificate for tradesmen/women

Minimum Educational Qualification
All applicants must have WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
In addition to the above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate.
