METROPOLITAN COLLEGE, ISOLO RECIEVES DONATION FROM OLD STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION
In a bid to give back to the society, members of the 1985 set of the Old Students’ Association of Metropolitan College, Isolo, Lagos have donated a set of office equipment, comprising a brand new photo copy machine and two desk top computers to their Alma mater.
Presenting the donation to the school, the President of the Old Students’ Association (1985 set), Dr. Mumuni Amisu, a medical consultant and lecturer at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), enjoined the authorities and students of the school to handle the donated office equipment with care.
Dr. Amisu further stated that the Association had made an arrangement with the supplier of the equipment for their maintenance for the next six months.
He expressed the hope that the donated office equipment would improve the learning experience of the students of the school.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Olayinka Kolawole, expressed appreciation to the Old Students, adding that the school would for ever be grateful to them for their kind gesture.
She also assured the members of the Old Students’ Association that that the donated items would be effectively utilized to enhance administrative and academic efficiency of the school.
The Principal, however, solicited the support of the Old Students in providing a befitting school hall for the school.
Also present at the occasion were other members of the executive of the 1985 set of the Old Students’ Association of the school, including the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ayodeji Oyeshiku, the Financial Secretary, Mr. Ganiyu Mafe and an ex- Officio, Mr. Wasiu Akinrinlo among others.
