
EFCC ARRESTS 29 INTERNET FRAUDSTERS IN ABUJA
On Wednesday, the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Command arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters.
The suspects were apprehended in Abuja at the intersection of Apo, Gwarimpa, and Katampe.
According to a statement from the anti-graft agency, their arrest came about as a result of actionable intelligence regarding their alleged involvement in online fraud.
Six cars, two smartwatches, and forty-three phones of various makes were taken from the suspects.
It further stated that as soon as the investigations are finished, they will face legal charges.
