POLICE RESCUE ABDUCTED CHILDREN IN LAGOS

In a daring rescue operation, police operatives from the Lagos State Command apprehended two individuals, Tewase Peter (25) and Ternugwa Paul (26), for the abduction of two teenagers from Benue State. The victims, identified as Precious (16) and Agera (15), were liberated from captivity in Itaoluwo, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Preliminary investigations unveiled that the victims were taken from their residence in Benue State while their mother was absent at the market. The ordeal came to light when the mother’s attempts to reach the elder victim went unanswered. A critical breakthrough occurred when a concerned citizen answered the phone, revealing that the suspects, Peter and Paul, had spirited away the youngsters to Lagos en route to Ghana for exploitative labor.
