SOYANNWO: LAGOS PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT LOSES A BACKER, SAYS COMMISSIONER
Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide has said that the physical environment of Lagos State has lost a backer with the demise of the Lagos State Deputy Chief of Staff, Gboyega Soyannwo.
He made this known in a condolence message, made available to the press on Thursday following Soyannwo’s passage on Wednesday.
“Mr. Soyannwo, a diligent professional, served the Lagos State Government with his whole heart and demonstrated a special love for the built environment, always supporting any cause to promote sustainability and the attainment of the Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda”, he said.
Olumide added that Soyannwo would be sorely missed by Lagos State, and particularly, the Physical Planning and Urban Development family for his unalloyed support in pushing the sector’s causes before Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu.
He further said that the entire Physical Planning and Urban Development family commiserates with Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Executive Council members, and the family of the deceased, while praying for the repose of his soul.
