CHELSEA PLAYERS REACT AFTER POCHETTINO’S EXIT
Chelsea players have bid farewell to Mauricio Pochettino, who departed from the Premier League club on Tuesday.
Pochettino leaves Stamford Bridge less than one year after his arrival.
Both parties claim it is by “mutual consent”.
Pochettino’s departure came after discussions with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.
Chelsea’s top scorer for this season, Cole Palmer, posted on Instagram: “Gaffer, thank you for everything you have done for me & making my dreams come true. All the best.”
Noni Madueke wrote on his Instagram story: “Thank you,” along with a picture of Pochettino placing an arm around him.
Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella, said: “Thank you for everything mister. Good luck in the future.”
Mykailho Mudryk used the same format to post the same message. “Thank you for everything,” he said in addition to a picture of Pochettino talking into his ear.
