ALLEGED N19.4BN FRAUD: COURT GRANTS EX-AVIATION MINISTER, HADI SIRIKA BAIL
Former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika is on trial for alleged fraud totaling nineteen point four billion naira. Judge Suleiman Belgore of the FCT High Court, located in Garki, has granted bail to Sirika.
A bail of N100,000,000 and two sureties of an equivalent amount was granted by Justice Belgore to the former Minister. Within the court’s jurisdiction, one of the sureties must possess landed property.
The court further stipulated that the former Minister could not leave Nigeria without the court’s approval.
The Court also acknowledged that Ahmad Sirika, the second defendant, ought to receive release under the same guidelines.
