LCCI CELEBRATES ECOWAS ON ITS 49TH ANNIVERSARY
The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry has extended commesorated with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), on its 49th anniversary of signing the ECOWAS treaty.
This was contained in a statement signed by the president of LCCI, Mr. Gabriel Idahosa, FCA on Tuesday.
The statement reads, “The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on the momentous occasion of the 49th anniversary of the signing of the ECOWAS Treaty.”
“Over the past 49 years, ECOWAS has played a pivotal role in promoting economic integration, political stability, and social progress across the West African region. Despite facing numerous challenges, including political instability, economic volatility, and public health crises, ECOWAS has remained resolute in its commitment to fostering regional cooperation and development.”
